Quad Cities Residency
12/03/07

Hey InPulse Fans!

Happy Holidays from your favorite vocal band (or at least, the one whose website you are currently on). We are back from our Thanksgiving break and currently hitting stride in our December tour. We wanted to take a moment to thank everyone in the greater Quad Cities, IA/IL area who made our November such a special month. We spent two weeks there and visited more than 30 schools, businesses and community events. We performed our own public concert and were honored to be guest artists on the Quad Cities Symphony's Holiday Pops Concert.

A few great memories from our stay:

1. Staying in Historic Downtown Moline, IL, a beautiful old town with lots of great local businesses. We loved the John Deere Commons and Museum and ate at River House many times!

2. Our public concert at Moline High School. Thanks to all who attended and had a great night with us.

3. Our appearance at the East Moline Correctional Center. We officially joined the ranks of Johnny Cash by playing at a prison, but seriously, it was not what you might expect. This was perhaps the most gratifying musical experience we had while in the QC's. The men at the EMCC thoroughly enjoyed the show and were a great audience. A special shout out to the East Moline Band who opened the show for us with some great jams.

4. Finally, the big Holiday Pops concert at the iWireless Center. Thanks to Steve Jobman, Artistic Director, and Chelsea Tipton III, Guest Conductor, for letting us be part of this great event and share the stage with so many great local musicians. We sang 2 songs for 6,500 people and loved every second of it! (Plus, we sold out of ALL our Christmas albums!!!) We'll never forget this one.

A special thanks to Susan Wahlman and the folks at Quad Cities Arts for putting together a great two week residency for us. We stayed busy and made some great new fans. We hope to see you all soon.

Much Love,

InPulse
